THE APARTMENT ON RAINES STREET

The apartment in Reins str. is located at the back of a building in the heart of the street.
It is a typical Tel Aviv apartment that was intended for renovation from the ground up.
Out of the homeowners desire to have a home that feels open and reminiscent of a loft lifestyle, but still define spaces where intimacy and privacy can be achieved, we created a layout of a central space with a modular bedroom that is closed off with glass partitions with ceiling rails.
Thus, when the partitions are open, the space is uniform and harmonious.
This is also what led to the choice of furniture.
The modular seating system chosen for the living room is made of smoked oak with a boucle fabric, as is the bed in the bedroom, which was designed in collaboration between the designers and Shai Hamo and combines a headboard upholstered in canvas with stonewash linen pillows and built-in side bedside table made of smoked oak, identical to the Modo storage unit integrated into the sofa in the living room.
The kitchen, which is located along the entire western wall of the house and covers the front door, created the need to design a minimalist and delicate detail that would provide storage at the entrance of the house but would be different, one that stands on its own in terms of both material and uniqueness.
Here too, in collaboration between the designers and Shai Hamo, the SHELFY CUSTOM entryway library was born, which is a functional detail of a magnetic board, shelves, storage cabinets, and a mirror.
Our furniture in the project
MODO SOFA
A unique modular sofa set, carefully designed to provide functionality combined with beauty and aesthetics.
The clean design of the sofas speaks a broad design language, suitable for all interior design styles.
The back rest supports are made of solid wood designed decoratively, and they can easely detach and become a sofa without back rest support. The functionality enables countless positions in space.
MODO STORAGE UNIT
A complementary product for the MODO SOFA, serves as a designed storage unit with a removable serving tray. Beyond the functional use, it also adds a unique touch and coziness.
The table is handmade of solid natural wood parts with interesting carpentry details.
The combination between the rough and thick construction and the delicate connector from the polish brass rods creates an interesting realationship.
A set of three tables that gives an addition of volume and an interesting appearance to the general display.
They can be placed in different and interesting constellation and be moved in space as needed.
The tables are handmade from solid walnut wood, with a brass decorative detail that blends into the wood.
The connection between the wood and the polished brass creates an interest and balanced relationship.
The outer finish lines are round and relaxed, that gives a movement that allows flow in space.
CUSTOMISED BED
A double bed designed and personalized to the HAMEATZVOT’s choice, both in terms of fabric, type of wood and the finished details.
The bed is characterized by clean, rounded lines, with additional support in the backrest with a hanging pillow with a unique leather strap detail.
This system used as a home entry console. The unit is supported on the wall, with solid wooden supports columns.
The entire system is designed and planned according to the customer’s personal needs. Different adjustments can be made in terms of dimensions, functions that combine fabric, leather, different metals such as: magnetic board, brass mats. The unit has a hanging hook, a magnetic board with customized shelves, storage drawers, shelves and a lower cabinet.
